Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about accuracy, pregnancy tools, and privacy.
Is this accurate for pregnant women?
Pregnancy and ovulation tools use calendar rules (for example, Naegele’s rule) that are common teaching tools, but individual cycles and ultrasound dating vary. Always follow your obstetric clinician’s dating and advice—not an online estimate.
Do you store my health data?
No. Inputs are processed in your browser for these calculators; we do not save them on our servers. Third-party ad networks may still use cookies or device signals per their policies—see our Privacy Policy.
Is this medical advice?
No. VitalMetricHub is informational only. It does not establish a clinician–patient relationship and is not a substitute for professional care.
Which equation do you use for calories?
We use the Mifflin–St Jeor equation for BMR, multiply by an activity factor for TDEE, and apply common planning heuristics for calorie and macro examples. Your clinician may prefer a different approach.
Can children use these tools?
Growth and pediatric BMI need clinician interpretation. Fertility-related tools are intended for adults 18+. See our age notice on those pages.
